1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes
¼ c butter
2 c milk
2 c half & half
2 c sugar
3 eggs
4 tsp vanilla extract
1½ tsp cinnamon
¼ c raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread cubes into a large mixing bowl. Pour milk and half and half over bread cubes, let soak for 10 minutes, gently mixing half way through.

Preheat oven to 325⁰ and melt butter in a 9x13 baking dish.

Whisk eggs, vanilla and cinnamon together and gently stir into bread mixture. Add sugar, again mixing gently. Stir in raisins.

Pour mixture into 9x13 dish and bake for 50 minutes.

Refrigerate.
 

Praline Sauce


Ingredients:

1 stick sweet cream butter (¼ lb)
½ c heavy cream
½ c brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ c toasted chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
After melting butter and while bread cubes are soaking, toast pecans in the oven for 5 minutes.

When the pudding comes out of the oven, place butter, heavy cream, brown sugar and vanilla in heavy bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.

Add toasted pecans, reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens, stirring occasionally.

Pour praline sauce over the bread pudding.
