Filling
1 quart of fresh strawberry (or fresh fruit of your choice)
1/2 package of strawberry Jell-O or whatever fresh fruit you are using.
3 tablespoon Cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup water
2 tab of light corn syrup

Pie Crust
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of liquid shortening
1 1/2 tsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
2 tablespoon of milk

Filling:
Cook together sugar, cornstarch, salt, water, and light corn syrup. Let mixture boil a minute or two until clear.

Remove from heat and add fresh fruit, dry Jell-O and a few drops for red color.

Pie Crust:
Mix ingredients together with fork. Pat into pie pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.

After mixture has cooled pour into baked pie shell. If you like whip cream add to cooled pie.
