Personal Notes:
This is a recipe from my Better Homes & Gardens Cookbook 1976. I've made these every year for Christmas. Anthony was the first child that helped me. When I say help I mean standing there making a mess and eating dough. At first it frustrated me. We strive for perfection. We learn as we age and develop wisdom that it should be a fun memory. Making something and being together. I've since made cookies with my girls Kristin and Melissa. I learned to make a nice batch and then have them help. Wisdom! I've made these cookies with Brookelynn and Makenna. Make a nice batch and then no expectations! Soon I'll try with Shane, Rhett and Heath. I can see the kitchen now!!

Wisdom!!
