2 c flour
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp butter
2/3 c cream

Directions:
Directions:
Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Run the butter through the flour and then add the cream. It will make a soft dough.

Pat into rounds about 1 to 1-1/2" thick. Cut the rounds into quarters and bake the triangles on a buttered baking sheet. 450º for 12 to 15 minutes.

I used to make this recipe all the time and always used sour cream instead of regular cream. I didn't read the recipe very closely.

As with all scones you can add lots of different things to them and flavors.
