1 c cocoa powder, level
1 c sugar, level
3 c plain flour, level
3 t baking powder, level
2 T Crisco, very heaping (size of large eggs)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

Mix cocoa, sugar, flour and baking powder in bowl. In small saucepan, melt Crisco. Add to flour and sugar mixture. Stir until combined.

Drop by teaspoon full onto greased cooking sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Frost while still warm.

Milk
Oleo
Vanilla

For icing: on low heat, melt shortening in saucepan. Add other ingredients. Stir. Brush cookies with icing. Let dry. Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
