4 Eggs, room temperature
1 cup Butter or Margarine, softened
2 cups Flour
2 tsps. Apple Pie Spice
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1 tsp. Maple Flavoring

Lemon Glaze
¾ Powdered Sugar, sifted
3 tsps. Lemon Juice

Grease and flour a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

In a small bowl sift together, flour, spice & baking powder. Set aside.

In a large mixer bowl, beat butter, gradually add sugar, beat 6 minutes or until fluffy, add maple flavoring, add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minutes after each addition, scraping bowl frequently. Gradually add flour mixture beating on low speed just til combined.

Turn into prepared pan. Bake at 325º oven for 60-65 minutes or til a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes on a wire rack. Remove from pan and cool completely.

In a small mixing bowl combine powdered sugar and lemon juice. Pour over cooled cake.
