Pickling cucumbers
5 gallons of water
3¼ cup canning salt
1 sprig of dill
1 teaspoon dill seed
1 teaspoon pickling spice
4 cloves of garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and sterilize jars.
Wash cukes and check for stems and brown spots /discard.
Peel garlic.
In large pot put solution of water and canning salt.
Pack pickles in jars and place 1teaspoon pickling spice,1 teaspoon of dill seed with 1 sprig of dill and 4 cloves of garlic to every jar.
Fill jars with brine solution and put sterilized tops on.
Let sit and brine for several weeks.
