1 bottle Root Beer extract
4 lbs of sugar
5 gals water
8 lbs Dry ice

Directions:
Directions:
In a 5 gallon container, add 1 gallon water and 4 pound of sugar. Mix well until sugar is completely dissolved. Pour in root beer extract or concentrate. Add 3 more gallons of water and mix well. You will need to add the dry ice very carefully being sure not to touch it (it will burn you). Cover the container loosely, tightly it will explode. You will need to cover it to get the fizz but not too much.

Paka made this for every summer holiday outside in a large water jug. Fourth of July, Labor Day and any day we had a BBQ. It is a fond memory.
