8 c. flour
1-1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
1/4 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. Baking powder
1Tbsp. Salt
2 c. shortening

Mix dry ingredients then cut in shortening till it is mixed well and store in container.

Master mix
Biscuits- 3 c. mix, 3/4 c. water, or buttermilk. Blend and knead 10 strokes. Pat out and cut. Bake in 9 by 13 greased pan at 425º (for crisp biscuits place on greased cookie sheet not touching) makes 1 dozen

Pancakes- 3 c. mix, 1 egg, 1-1/2 c. water- blend.
18 med. Pancakes or 6 waffles.

Muffins- 3 c. mix.2 Tbsp. sugar, 1 egg, 1c. Water. Mix water and eggs, add to dry ingredients. Add in your favorite berries, chips etc. bake at 450º for 25 min makes 1 dozen.

This is my go to recipe for biscuits, I always have this on hand and I use buttermilk. I've used this recipe since the 1970's. Tip- chill mix the night before for flakey biscuits.
