1/2 c. butter
1-1/2 c. flour
salt, pepper, cayenne
4 oz. grated sharp cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add flour seasoned with a dash of pepper, salt & cayenne. Add grated sharp cheese. Blend thoroughly then add a few Tbsp. of cold water so dough is like piecrust. Roll pastry ¼ in thick cut in 4 inch squares: cut each square into straws. Place on ungreased cookie sheet bake at 400º for 8 min.

I remember these from when I was a little girl and lived across the street from Aunt Renee' Williams. I never dreamed I would marry her nephew and she would become my real Aunt. She was a special talented lady. Jenny is named after her.
