2 shredded wheat biscuits crumbled
2 cups boiling water
2/3 cups molasses
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsp shortening
1 yeast packet (2-1/2 tsp yeast)
1/2 cup lukewarm water
5-6 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over biscuits. Add molasses, salt, shortening and let cool til lukewarm. Add yeast dissolved in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Mix together thoroughly
Add flour to make a firm dough. Knead well.

Let rise til doubled, punch down, form loaves. Let rise again and b ake.

300-325º for 50 minutes.
