2# baby spinach, washed
1 quart strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 small red onion, sliced thinly
1 cucumber, peeled and deseeded
1/2 cup slivered toasted almonds

DRESSING:
1/3 cup sugar
2 T white wine vinegar
1 T vegetable oil
1 tsp poppy seeds
1/2 tsp lemon zest
2T fresh lemon juice
3-4 whole strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Put spinach in bowl and then layer other salad ingredients on top and set aside.
Toss together with dressing before serving.

For dressing, combine all ingredients in blender and mix on high 45 seconds.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let flavors meld.
Shake dressing and add to salad right before you serve.
