3 c. fresh berries of choice
4 T. maple syrup
1/4 c. water
2-3 T. chia seeds
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Add berries, maple syrup and water to saucepan. Bring ingredients to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Try to mash some of the berries while they are simmering. The heat will help break them up as well.
Remove saucepan from heat and add chia seeds until they are well incorporated. Let sit 5-10 minutes.
Lastly, stir in the lemon juice. Transfer the mixture to a glass jar and store in fridge. Can be stored for 1-2 weeks.
