3 qts. water
1 qt. vinegar
1 cup salt
(as usual, Nannie didn't include measurements for the cucumbers or dill heads)

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boil and pour over cucumbers packed in jars (makes 4-5 quarts) until covered. Add dill heads and seal. Small onions may be used the same way. Also cooked green beans and cooked carrots.
