1 ˝ cups powdered sugar
1 cup margarine
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ˝ cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Sift dry ingredients (flour, soda, and cream of tartar) add to the first mixture. Refrigerate if desired. Roll out in desired shapes. Bake at 375 degrees until lightly browned on the edges of cookies. Bake 7-8 minutes.
