Ingredients for Cake Layer:
• 1 ½ Cup Butter Pecan Cake Mix
• 1 Large Egg
• 2/3 Cup White Sugar
• ½ Cup Vegetable Oil or Coconut Oil
• ½ Teaspoon Vanilla
• ½ Cup Milk
• 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

Ingredients for Pie Layer:
• Ό Cup Melted Butter
• 1 Large Egg
• ½ Cup Milk
• 1/3 Cup Cake Mix Flour
• ½ Cup Sugar
• ½ Cup Corn Syrup (light)
• 1 Cup Chopped Pecans

*NOTE: If you don’t have Butter Pecan Cake mix, you can use 1 ½ Cup All Purpose Flour & 2 Tsp Baking Powder
Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together for the “cake layer” in large bowl.
3. Pour cake batter into lightly greased round cake pan and bake for 20 mins.
4. In bowl whisk melted butter, egg, sugar, corn syrup, milk, and remaining cake mix flour until smooth, then fold in remaining chopped pecans.
5. Once 1st cake layer has finished baking remove from oven and evenly spread 2nd pie layer over top (note: some ingredients will sink to bottom of cake).
6. Replace in oven and bake for another 40-45 mins until center of cake is set.
