Layer 1 - Crust:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup cold butter
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, toasted

Layer 2:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 carton (8oz) whipped topping

Layer 3:
2 1/2 cups milk
2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix

Layer 4:
1 carton (8 oz) whipped topping
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or chunks
Chocolate syrup

1. Preheat oven to 350º. Place flour in a small bowl, cut in the cold butter till crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup nuts. Press into bottom of an ungreased 13x9 inch baking dish. Bake until light brown 12-15 minutes. Cool completely on wire rack

2. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth; fold in 1 carton whipped topping. Spread over crust. In a large bowl whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Gently spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and remaining nuts. Refrigerate until cold.

3. Cut into bars. Before serving, Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
