1 Pkg yeast
1/3 c. warm water


1/2 c. warm milk
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soft margarine
1 egg
2 1/2 - 3 c. flour

Frosting- Powdered sugar and milk

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast in warm water in large bowl. Stir until dissolve.
Add milk, sugar, salt, margarine, egg, and 1 1/2 cup flour. Beat
until smooth. About 1 minute. Stir in remaining flour gradually.
Knead 5 - 10 minutes on a floured surface. Cover and let rest - about 20 minutes. Punch down and shape. Divide into 2 strands and twist or 3 strands and braid. Brush with oil. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. (Can refrigerate up to 48
hours for early prep). When ready to bake, let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes then bake at 375º for about 20 minutes.
Mix powdered sugar and milk to desired consistency for frosting.
