"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Living in Wisconsin, you hear a lot about "Hot Ham and Rolls" on Sunday. Our favorite (now closed) butcher shop, and every grocery store and deli in town has some kind of special on Sunday. Apparently, there's a debate on whether you butter the roll or not but other than that, It's pretty simple, and as best as I can tell... this is Wisconsin comfort food.
