2 quarts water
2 cups diced ham
2 cups chopped onions
2 cups chopped celery
2 dashes worcestershire sauce
1 cup diced carrots
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups dry split peas
dash of red hot sauce (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large soup. Simmer for 2 hours. Once finished you can blend or use an emerson blender to make the soup more smoother. Can be served with a tsp of sour cream on top.
