1 cup butter
1½ cup sugar
2 eggs
3 cups flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ Tbsp milk
1½ tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar then add remaining ingredients. Chill dough until easy to handle. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters.

May place a candy kiss with the pointed part cut off in the center of the cookie and place another cookie over the top, sealing with a dab of water around the edges.

Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Cool and the frost and decorate.

Grandma Dahl made these for Valentines Day every year and let the grandkids help make, frost, and decorate cookies.

These cookies freeze really well for future use.
