5 Tbs dry mustard
½ cup sugar
1 Tbs flour
½ tsp salt
Dash red pepper
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup vinegar
1 Tbs butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine mustard, sugar, flour, salt and red pepper in top of a double boiler. Add eggs and vinegar, blending thoroughly . Place over boiling water, cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add butter, stir until melted.

Cool mixture, store in jar in refrigerator

Double boiler—you can simply put one smaller pot over the larger one (that has water in it). I have also cooked in one pot only, but you have to watch very carefully so as not to burn.

5 Tbs dry mustard = 1.5 oz can
