1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup of butter
1 tsp. sage or more to taste
8 cups dry bread cubes
1 - 2 cup chicken broth
2 cups Pepperidge Farms seasoned bread stuffing
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Sauté celery and onions in butter until soft add sage. Place all the bread cubes in a large mixing bowl and pour butter mixture over it. Add chicken broth, salt and pepper and combine ingredients until bread is moist. Add more chicken broth if needed. Place in 13x9 inch pan and bake for 1 hour.

I can remember when I was little mom opening up the loaves of bread to get stale the day before she was making the dressing. Everybody fights for the crisp edges they are the best!
