1 c pine gum (melted)
1/3 lb. mutton tallow
1/3 lb beeswax or paraffin
1 med. bottle vaseline (3 1/2 oz)
2 oz bottle olive oil
2 T turpentine
1 t. carbolic acid

Directions:
Directions:
Have a heavy pan to melt gum down--be careful as it will take fire.
Melt pine gum and strain through screen wire.
Melt again and combine your 1 c pine gum and 1/4 lb mutton tallow.
Heat and stain through cheese cloth.
To the strained mixture add beeswax, vaseline, olive oil, turpentine, and carbolic acid. Heat to boiling point, set off and cool. when cool, whip until smooth and pour into jars.
BE CAREFUL--IT"S FLAMABLE
DO NOT USE ALUMINUM PAN.

Use for sores to draw infections. For boil and good on minor burns.
