Directions:Heat oven to 80-95ºF - turning the oven on briefly for a few minutes will achieve this
Mix the flour, butter, and salt together in a bowl until it resembles breadcrumbs. Combine the milk and lukewarm water in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Lightly stir in the sugar and yeast and place in oven until frothy (~10 min). Turn the oven off and stir into the flour mixture until it starts coming together to form a dough. Adding only enough water to incorporate ingredients and mix until all flour is combined in a bowl and has formed a uniform smooth look.
Knead dough until smooth (~5 minutes), place back in the bowl, and let it rise in the oven on the lower shelf for 1 hour. Once doubled in size punch down and knead again for 5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 ºF
Divide into 14 pieces and roll dough into balls. Evenly space dough balls onto a flour-dusted baking sheet and then dust the balls again. Set aside on the counter and let rise again for 20 minutes.
Bake for 15 minutes or until their tops have turned light brown.
Transfer the baps to a cooling rack |

Notes: Here is a recipe for some super easy and delicious buns that Nico enjoys making to complement your homemade hamburger patties.
Using all-purpose flour creates delicious buns. Nico suggests replacing the all-purpose flour with a good quality bread flour to step it up!!
