2 cups sugar
1 tsp. soda
1 tbsp. butter
3/4 cup buttermilk
2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, soda, and buttermilk. Bring to a boil in a 3 qt. saucepan (218 degrees) or until form soft ball in cold water. Mix butter and pecans. Cook 300 degrees 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes. Spoon on to wax paper.
