3 boneless ham slices about ½ inch thick
⅓ cup butter or margarine
¼ cup minced onion
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. dry mustard
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 ½ cups milk
6 medium potatoes, each sliced about ¼ inch thick

About 2 hours serving;
Preheat oven to 350º F. Remove any casing from ham slices; cut each slice in half and arrange in 12” by 8” baking dish.

In 3 - quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook onion 5 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in flour, mustard, salt and pepper until blended. Gradually stir in milk and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is very thick. Stir in potato slices; spoon potato mixture over ham slices. Cover tightly with foil and bake about 1 ½ hours or until potatoes are tender.
