1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 cup of confect. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1 tsp of baking soda
4 cups of flour
1 tsp of cream of tartar
1 tsp of salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, cream butter, oil and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. In another large bowl, sift dry ingred., then add to wet ingred. and blend. Shape dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten balls with wet glass bottom dipped in sugar. Bake 12 minutes...sprinkle with goodies while still warm.
