4 loaves white bread
2 onions
stalks of celery
whole chicken
ground sage
stick butter
salt and pepper








Directions:
Directions:
Toast bread before tearing into pieces. Cut your onion and celery into small pieces and saute in butter until light brown. Boil the chicken in water and a little bit of chicken broth. Shred chicken after it cools and add to bread with onion and celery. Then use the broth from the cooked chicken, mix, and then add sage to taste with salt and pepper. Bake in two cake pans for about 45 min. at 350º

When Lou had Thanksgiving at her house Billie always made the dressing. Now her granddaughter, Ashley, makes the dressing. Ashley is Kay's daughter and Billie was her Mom.
