2½ C All-purpose flour
1 T Baking soda
1 C White sugar
¾ C Light brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 Pinch salt
½ C Unsalted butter
4 Ripe bananas, mashed
⅔ C Buttermilk
½ C Chopped Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.

In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in the bananas. Add flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk to the creamed texture. Stir in chopped walnuts. Pour batter into the prepared pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack to cool.

This batter can be used to make banana bread or muffins. You can also bake in round cake pans. It is also good frosted with chocolate or cream cheese icing.
