2 c sugar
2 T ice water (level)

Preheat oven to 275 deg F.

Thoroughly blend sugar with water. If coloring is added, add to water before measuring. Pack into egg-shaped molds firmly and evenly. Remove end (for viewing portal). Turn out on cardboard squares. Place into oven for 5 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Carefully scoop out sugar egg leaving ¼” shell. Dry thoroughly.

In bottom, decorate internal to desired Easter theme. Attach top shell.

This is a fond childhood memory of ours. Momma was an amazing cake artist, so her piping details on there were beautiful. Such a treasure and always so preciously decorated. Love my sweet Momma!!!
