Sauce:
1 ½1bs. ground beef
1 onion-diced
1 clove of garlic
1 small can-tomato paste
3 small cans-tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
Dough:
1 cup lukewarm water
2 Tsp. yeast
1 cup heated milk
2 Tsp. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4-1/2cups flour
Topping:
2 lbs. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sauce ingredients and let simmer. In a small bowl combine water and yeast and then combine remaining dough ingredients. Mix dough well and let rise for five minutes. Spread dough thin onto two, greased jelly roll pans. Place meat sauce mixture on top. Cook 350º for 15 minutes. Add cheese and cook for 10 more minutes.

This is my children’s favorite recipe that their Grandma McCray made. They call it her homemade hamburger pizza. It has been a tradition of ours to have it on Christmas Eve every year. It’s a small way of having her with us.
