2 c sugar
2/3 c milk
1/3 c cocoa powder
2 T corn syrup
2 T butter
¼ t salt
1 t vanilla
Nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter pan. Combine sugar, milk, chocolate, corn syrup and slat in saucepan. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and sugar is dissolved. Cook stirring occasionally to 234 deg F. Remove from heat. Add butter. Cool to 120 deg F without stirring. Add vanilla and beat vigorously until mixture thickens and is no longer glossy. Stir in nuts. Pour in pan. Cool and cut into squares.
