1 lbs. Ground Beef
½ cup chopped onion
½ to 1 tsp Chili Powder
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
⅛ tsp Red or Black pepper
12-oz can Green Giant® Mexicorn® Golden Whole Kernel Corn with sweet peppers, drained
8 oz can Tomato Sauce
7.5- oz can Pillsbury refrigerated Buttermilk or Country Biscuits
4 Deluxe Pasteurized Process American Cheese Slices

Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease 9 or 10 inch pie pan. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in chili powder, garlic powder, pepper, corn, and tomato sauce. Simmer while preparing crust. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Arrange biscuits in prepared pan; press over bottom and up sides to form crust. Spoon hot meat mixture into crust. Bake at 350ºF for 25 minutes. Cut each piece of cheese into 3 strips. Arrange in lattice fashion on top of hot pie. Return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes or until crust is deep golden brown and cheese begins to melt. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
