2 tbsp. butter
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 large tomato, chopped
1 green onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 large sprig of parsley
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. herbs de Provence
1/4 tsp. tarragon
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. curry
1 bay leaf
1 1 lb. can pumpkin
2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter on a large pot, add green pepper, tomato, onion, parsley, thyme, garlic, herbs de Provence, tarragon, cinnamon, curry, and bay leaf, and simmer 5 minutes. Add pumpkin and chicken stock and simmer for 30 minutes. Either press mixture through a food mill or wire strainer or use an immersion blender. Blend the flour with the milk and stir into the blended soup. Season with nutmeg and sugar. Heat stirring often while you bring the soup to a boil; cook 3 minutes.
