Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1- c cornmeal
c flour
1- t baking powder
1 t salt
t baking soda
1 c buttermilk
1 egg
4 T oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 deg F. Coat skillet generously in Crisco shortening - do NOT preheat.

Mix all ingredients together well.

Cook for 25-30 minutes.
