8 oz. flour
1 egg
1 tbsp. treacle
1 tbsp. syrup
4 oz. margarine
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 oz. sugar
1 tsp. all spice
1 tsp. baking soda (dissolved in ½ c. warm water)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º F
Beat cream together margarine and sugar
Add egg, syrup and treacle
Add flour and dry ingredients
Lastly, add water
Bake at 375º F for 50-55 minutes until it is firm on top
