6 c. peeled and sliced apples
½ c. brown sugar
½ c. rolled oats
½ c. unsifted all purpose flour
⅓ c. brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
In a glass 8" square baking dish place apples and sugar
With pastry blender mix flour, brown sugar, oats, butter and cinnamon until chunky
Microwave on high for 9-12 minutes
After 5 minutes rotate the dish a quarter turn
Let stand before serving

I made this for my Uncle George when he was here visiting from Ireland one year. He loved it so much he asked for it a few times. Then when he went home he tried the recipe himself, but said it never tasted the same as mine
