3/4 cup (174g) water
1/2 cup 125g) whole milk
1 packet (9 grams) yeast
3 cups (440g) bread flour
1.5 teaspoons (8g) fine sea salt
1 tablespoon (21g) granulated sugar
3 tablespoons unsalted butter softened (42 g)

Stir together the water and milk
Heat milk and water to 98°F and then stir in the yeast. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit to bloom.

In mixing bowl stir together bread flour, salt, and sugar.
Start mixer on low with dough hook. Slowly pour / drizzle bloomed yeast mixture into flour mixture. Continue to knead with dough hook until dough looks smooth (about 3 minutes).

Add 1 Tbsp of softened butter and mix in.
Repeat until all 3 Tbsp of butter have been incorporated.

Remove from mixer and shape into a round.
Add to a greased bowl, cover with greased plastic wrap, and let rise until doubled.

Grease 9" bread pan
Punch down bread, remove from bowl, placing on floured surface
Roll dough out to a rectangular shape that is about 1/2" thick and the width of your bread pan.
Roll up and place seam side down into pan. Cover.
Let dough rise again for 45 minutes to an hour or until doubled in size.

Place in 350°F oven for approximately 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

Remove from pan and let it cool on wire rack.
