1 C. Shortening
2 C. Sugar
2 Eggs, well beaten
1 C. Sour Milk
1/2 C. Cocoa
2 1/2 C. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 C. Boiling Water
Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, measure and sift together three times with cocoa, salt and soda. Cream shortening and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk gradually together with flour. Mix alternately. Mix well after addition. Add boiling water and beat several minutes. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
