6 to 8 potatoes
Small onion
3 cups milk
1/2 stick butter
Water
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

1. Peel and dice potatoes, dice onion, put in a large pot
2. Add water just enough to cover potatoes; boil until fork tender(approximately 20
Minutes)
3. Add milk and butter, salt and pepper to taste (do not boil) simmer on low until butter
