2 C sugar
1 C pecans
3 C flour
1 ⅓ C Wesson Oil
3 C diced apples
3 eggs
1 tsp each - salt, baking soda, baking powder
2 tsp vanilla

Icing:
1 C light brown sugar
4 Tbsp canned cream
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and oil together. Add eggs one at a time. Beat each egg. Sif the dry ingredients together and add to eggs and oil. Add small amount of flour mixture to the apples and nuts. Bake 350º in three 8-inch cake pans, approximately 25 -30 minutes.
Let cake cool completely.

Icing:
Cook to a rolling boil. Remove and beat well. Pour over top of layers and let drip down sides. Icing will thicken as it cools.. .
