Soup:
1 whole chicken
2 onions, sliced
2 stalks celery
1 tbsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
3 ½ quarts water

Noodles:
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
¼ tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Simmer chicken with onion, celery, salt, and pepper in water for 3 ½ hours. Cool. Strain broth and discard vegetables. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Make noodles by beating the egg, water, salt, and pepper together. Gradually add flour. Knead slightly. Too much kneading will make the noodles tough. Roll out very thin. Cut into thin strips. Add to broth. Boil 15 minutes. Add chicken pieces. Simmer until served.
