1 beef roast, approx. 4 lbs
3 pkgs dry onion soup mix
3 cans condensed creme of mushroom soup
1½ cups water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325º

2. Place meat in roaster

3. Mix both soups and water...pour over meat and cover roaster

4. Bake until tender... approx. 3 hours
**baking time can be shortened if you cut the roast in ½


**If you find the recipe too salty double the water at the beginning and thicken as per below:
1. Once the roast is done remove to a plate and cover.
2. Stir in 3-4 T of flour or cornstarch into a small amount of cold water until you've created a smooth paste
3. Slowly and gradually whisk the mixture into the gravy a little at a time until it begins to thicken

Can be eaten as a roast beef sandwich and gravy or with mashed potatoes and veggies.
