1 cup Butter, soften
1 cup Margarine, soften
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs, well beaten
2 tsps. Almond Extract
¼ tsp. Salt
4 - 4 ½ cups Flour, sifted

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375º.

Work butter and margarine together in a bowl until creamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until mixture is light and fluffy. Add eggs and almond extract and blend well. Mix salt and flour together and add enough flour to butter mixture to make a stiff dough.

Spoon dough into a cookie press and press out into desired shapes about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake 7 to 10 minutes, until edges are lightly brown.

Cool cookies on cake racks.
