Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts) or homemade crusts
6 cups peeled, cored and slice apples
3/4 c granulated sugar
2 Tbsp flour
1 1/2 tsp apple pie spice
1/4 tsp salt
2 Tbsp butter chilled and cut into small pieces
1 1/2 Tbsp cream or milk
1 Tbsp granulated sugar

Preheat oven to 425º. Place 1 crust into bottom of 9” pie plate.
Mix apples, 3/4 cup sugar, flour, apple pie spice and salt in large mixing bowl until apples are coated. Turn apples into pie plate and spread evenly. Scatter butter pieces over apples. Fit top crust over apple mixture and crimp/seal edges. Brush top of crust with cream/milk. Make slits in top crust to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle with remaining 1 Tbsp of sugar. Bake until golden, about 40-45 minutes.
