1/3 c Crisco
1 c granulated sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
5 Tbsp baking cocoa
1 tsp salt

Cream together crisco, sugar and egg until well blended. Add milk and vanilla, beat well. In separate bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Drop by spoonful onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 425º for 5-7 minutes. (Make an even number). Cool on wire rack. Once cool place filling on one cookie and other cookie on top.

For filling; Cream together 1/2 c shortening, 3 Tbsp Butter, 1/2 c confectioner sugar,
1/2 c marshmallow fluff, 1/8 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla. (Usually need to double the recipe to make enough filling for cookies)
