6-8 Apples (Granny Smith suggested) peeled, cored and sliced
1 T. white flour
1/2 c. white sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon

Topping
1 c. rolled oats
1 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apples and next 4 ingredients
Place in a large baking dish

Combine topping ingredients and crumble over apples.

Bake at 350 for apprx. 45 minutes

Serve with ice cream &/or cheddar

Emma found this recipe on the internet and we decided it was our new apple crisp recipe.
Although Granny Smith apples are recommended, we use Cortland.
