Bread Pudding Recipe

2 tbsp brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1-2 tsp cinnamon
5 slices of any kind of bread, cut or torn into cube size
½ cup butter, melted
3 or so handfuls of saltanas (raisens) or other fruit
2 cups milk
2 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Lightly grease 8x8 baking pan.

Soak bread in milk for approx. 15 minutes. Combine all other ingredients and
pour over bread mixture.

Bake about 45 minutes and/or until pudding is set and browned.

Best served warm with fresh whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or, my favorite,
warm vanilla custard.

This traditional desert is totally rustic comfort food. It has so many variations that it is hard to pin down to on recipe. Most recipies have been handed down from generation to generation. I've tried here to come up with a basic recipe which will give a good result. The rest is up to you to make it your own!
