1 cup ( 2 sticks) soften butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 1/3 cup sifted flour

Food coloring optional

Cookie press

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter. Gradually add sugar beating until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg and extract.
Gradually blend in flour.

May add food coloring if desired.

Fill cookie press 1/4 full and press cookies.
Bake at 350 degrees on a ungreased cookie sheet 8 - 10 minutes.
